Documents checklist for Norway Visa

Mandatory Requirements:

Passport:

Original Passport with validity of minimum three months (from the date of return) and minimum two blank pages for visa stamp 
Please note: 
a) So the passports issued beyond 10 yrs will not be acceptable in the Embassy.
b) Copy of Passport’s front & back page with Visa copies.
c) Indian passport with any “observation” will be accepted. However, the applicant has to inform the submission officer regarding the same at the time of submission of visa application.
d) Also attach all your old passports (if any).

Visa Application Form:

 Application form has to be filled online and signed by the applicant. 

a) One “Applicant Information Form” to be duly filled and submitted along with application.
Please note:
b) ” Additional Form ” to be only signed by the applicant and submitted along with application.
a) So the applicant should provide his personal information, i.e. contact number, e-mail id and communication address, while filling up the application form. 
b) Payment must be done through Credit Card. 
c) In case of group, kindly mention that how the payment has been made on the letter head.

Photo Dimension:

 Three recent passport size coloured photographs with matt or semi matt finish, 60%-80% face coverage, white background and without border (Size: 35 mm x 45 mm)
Please note: Photograph should not be more than 3 months old , scanned/stapled and should not be used in any of the previous visas

Personal Cover Letter:

Covering-letter from applicant’s business letter head mentioning the purpose of visit,passport number, with complete name and contacts of the host/relative/hotel in Norway. The letter should duly sign from authorised signatory with company stamp and addressed to – The Visa Officer, Royal Norwegian Embassy, New Delhi.
Please Note: Covering-Letter on Letterhead if applicant is Self Employee or on plain paper if Employee.

Flight Reservation:

Ticket itinerary.
Additionally Note: The ticket submitted should have a gap of at least 15 working days. (Documents checklist for Norway Visa)

Accommodation Proof:

Hotel confirmation for the entire period of stay as per the tour itinerary. 
Please Note: Hotel should match the ticket dates and maximum stay should be in Norway.

Medical Insurance:

A medical travel insurance required with a minimum coverage of 30,000 Euro. Which should be valid for 15 days after the return from the Schengen area. 
Please Note : Insurance has to be done by the Authorised Insurance Companies.

Bank Statements and ITR:

a) Personal ITR for last 3 years.
b) Original Bank Statement for last six months with Bank Seal and Sign. Note :Bank statement Should be on A 4 Size Paper.
c) Three months salary slip (If working).
e) Credit Card copy/Foreign Exchange endorsement/Traveller’s Cheque.

Proof of Employment:

Self Employed

a) Company Registration Certificate / Certificate of Incorporation.
b) Brief Company Profile.
c) Articles of Memorandum. (In case the applicant is MD/Director).
d) So proof of Proprietorship / Partnership. (In case applicant is Proprietor / Partner in a firm).
e) Import / Export License (if applicable).

Employed 

Proof of employment like Salary Slip and Appointment Letter / NOC from Employer.
School Going Child or Adult:
a) Also attach Leave Sanction Letter. And ID card copy from school
b) So the Parents have to provide ITR, Bank statement and NOC letter
If you are under 18, you must also submit
a) So if you are travelling alone – An original letter of consent signed by both parents and a copy of their passport (first & last page)/marriage certificate.
b) If you are travelling with only one of your parents – An original letter of consent from the other parent and a copy of his/her passport (first & last page).
c) So if the parent you are travelling with has single custody. A copy of the certificate of single custody.
